The course will teach you about:

  • Customer service 
  • Conflict management 
  • First aid

 You will also become skilled in the theory aspect of busdriving:

  • Driving- and resting periods 
  • Environmentally friendly driving
  • Route planning 

Driving lessons

During your driving lessons we will teach you how to:

  • Drive, reverse and park the bus 
  • When you have sufficient skills in driving, you will be taken on our slippery road track, where you will be able to test your skills and the bus in more challenging conditions. 

     

Requirements

  • Atleast 21 years old. 
  • Valid category B driving license
  • Valid medical certificate for large vehicles (group 2)
  • You must be able to understand and speak English

Certificates

When you have passed your tests, you will receive 3 certificates (driving license is issued by the Danish road safety agency (færdseldsstyrrelsen)

  • Bus driving license (cat. D/EP).
  • Certificate of Professional Competence (Driver CPC) also known as EU-license.
  • AMU-certificate
  • Tachograph card

Attention

If you are over 23 years old, it takes 30 days to get a bus driver’s license.

If you are under 23 years old, you have to participate in a special course for young people, which takes 50 days. Contact us for price and dates on our U23 team.

According to Danish law, everyone under 23 years old must have a “Basic Qualification Education” for 50 days, whereas everyone over 23 years old must have an “Intensive Basic Qualification Education” for 30 days.

 

As a busdriver you can for example get jobs driving: 

  • Route bus
  • Train bus 
  • Tourist bus
  • Flextrafik

DKK 6,240* Course fees in addition
  • Test fee (paid to the Danish Road traffic Authority)

  • EU licence (issued by the Danish Road Traffic Authority)

Your employer can apply for a salary allowance (VEU godtgørelse) of up to DKK 940 per day, as well as travel expenses and possible grants from skills funds.
